Escalator 35 degrees 

Technical Requirements

1. According to safety regulations, the truss for escalator where the step width is 600mm has to be extended by 417mm.

2. If L>15000, escalator has to be furnished with intermediate support.

3. A lifting structure whose bearing capacity is higher than that of R1 and R2 shall be arranged above R1 and R2, respectively.

4. Power supply specification is "3-phase, 380VAC±7%, 50HZ, 40A". Lighting source: Single-phase 220VAC, 15A. User shall provide a ground terminal of which the ground resistance is not more than 4Ω. Three-phase fire-wire system (by customer) shall be employed for power supply.

5. Power supply and lighting source shall be separated from each other. Null line shall be isolated from ground line all the time.

6. A free access area that is at least 1.5m wide and 2.5m long (from the turning end of handrail) shall be set up respectively at escalator's upper and lower entrances/exits, and its ground illumination shall not be less than 50Lx.

7. Embedded iron pieces for upper and lower spandrel girders shall be fabricated by customer; the levelness embedding shall not be more than 5mm.

8. The upper and lower spandrel girders shall be perpendicular to the side face of escalator's end fit, and the perpendicularity shall not be more than 5mm.

9. Where escalator is arranged at ground floor, it's important to set up concrete pit that is free of water seepage; concrete pit is not necessary if escalator is installed on the second or higher floors.

10. These technical requirements are an integral part of the escalator civil layout.

Escalator 30 degrees

Moving walkway - 10, 11, and 12 degrees

1.Where L>30000, it's essential to set up two intermediate supports.

2.The entrance/exit of moving walkway shall be furnished with fully unimpeded area for accommodating passengers, and the width of such area shall at least be equal to the distance between handrail strap centerlines, while its size in depth shall at least be 2.5m. If the width of such area is more than 2 times the center-to-center distance of handrail strap, its size in depth could be reduced to 2m.

3.User shall provide adequate and appropriate lighting for escalator and its surrounding areas.

4.Where the distance between handrail centerline and any obstacle is less than 500mm, user has to arrange an at least 300mm-high sharp edge-free vertical anti-collision baffle above outer cover plate.

5.User shall configure power sources depending on site conditions: Power supply specification should be "380VAC±7%, three-phase five -wire system, 50Hz; lighting source 220VAC. Null line and ground line shall be separated from each other, and the ground resistance shall not be more than 4Ω.
